Number of Teen Participants?*

Teen = 10 to 17 years old. Each participant must be able to maintain an average pace in all weather conditions without being carried by an adult. Children under 10 years old are welcome on a private tour where their pace and behavior will not be an issue to other participants. We do not accept children under 10 years of age on our semi private tours. Request a private tour if you have 9 year old or younger participants. See care.com for vetted babysitters.

Dogs Love Tahoe Snow Shoe Tours! NOTE: Tell us your dog's breed, disposition and level of socialization in the dialog box below. Unannounced dogs will not be accepted on the tour. Dogs must be friendly, non aggressive, quiet and on a leash at all times. Each dog must be able to maintain an average pace in all weather conditions without being carried by an owner. We reserve the right to refuse a dog at the meeting place before the tour. There are no refunds for dog owners as well as members of the dog's group who opt to not take the tour if their dog is not allowed to join the tour. If you feel like your dog may not qualify or may be rejected due to criteria stated above you have the option to take private tour where your dog will not disturb the experience of other participants. Not all Tahoe Snowshoe Tours accommodate dogs. Thanks for your candor and consideration in advance!

Amazing, perfectly executed photos of you engaging with spontaneous fast moving wildlife while snowshoeing in one of the most beautiful places in the world. We deliver around 50 high resolution photos every tour. (Usually multiples of that number of photos).

Tahoe Snow Tubing*

SnowTube with us after your morning snowshoe or before your sunset snowshoe tour. We use Flexible Flyer Premium Cushioned Snow Tubes. Snowtubing in Lake Tahoe requires no special skills or equipment and is appropriate for almost everyone. Just bundle up and head for our snowtubing hill -don’t forget your gloves and boots! Fly solo or race a friend down the snowy mountain. Hourly per Tube. BYOB, Hot Cocoa and visit the food trucks at the base of our tubing run!

Cross Country (Nordic) High Alpine Skinny Ski Experience*

Experience the beauty of mountainous terrain and stunning high alpine Lake Tahoe views with cross country skiing, also referred to as Nordic skiing. Our expert guide and instructor will lead you on a two-hour adventure along well-maintained trails, making it an ideal choice for beginners. Equipment rental is not included, but please refer to the introductory email for recommended rental shops. Join us for a memorable journey through picturesque landscapes.

3. a. Participants who cannot consistently walk 2 miles in 2 hours at lower elevations may struggle in snow at 8,900 feet. Book a private tour for a pace and distance tailored to you. b. Start times are firm; we cannot wait for late arrivals. Arrive at least 15 minutes early to secure parking. c. Directions will be sent after payment. Review the navigation link in your confirmation email immediately, as we may not be available by phone on the reservation day. Clients are responsible for their own transportation, navigation, parking and to report to their guides vehicle to check in and gear up.
